Let's start with a little background...
My blog literally exploded thanks to Pinterest and to a crazy haired doll - Rapunzel. The original post was about caring for the wild hair of the Rapunzel Doll. This post seemed to resonate with so many different people - mommies who had all but given up on the doll, doll collectors, grandmoms who had bought it for Christmas, etc...
This post has been viewed over 150,000 times! I have been blown away by the response!
A couple of days ago I get an email that began something like this...
Dear Becca,
A friend of mine passed your blog along to me. I handle the Public Relations for Tollytots, the company that makes the Rapunzel Doll...
Oh crap... here it comes, some kind of cease and desist order for using their doll to my advantage or they are mad at me for dogging their little plastic brush... but I kept reading!
I LOVED IT! We would like to do a giveaway with you.
What?! I was in shock! The company that makes the doll? Are you serious? You mean someone other than my mom and her Facebook friends actually look at my stuff?! If Rapunzel herself had email me, I would have been less shocked!
So the best part of this is that I get to do a giveaway for YOU!!!

I would love to win this doll because my daughter LOVES Rapunzel and Tangled. We watch it at least once every couple of days and she would be ecstatic! She has the soundtrack playing on her cd player, on repeat! and she doesn't want me to cut her hair because she wants to BE Rapunzel! (I also really like the movie. Especially, Maximus. I also love Zachary Levi.

I think Rapunzel is the reason my daughter gets out of bed everyday..she is obsessed. She's 7 and her hair will not grow, it's never been past her shoulders. So Rapunzel is pretty much her hero ! thanks

I love the movie Tangled and would love to win this doll for my niece! I am a email subscriber to Cookie and Claire.
My 5 year old and I LOVE the movie Tangled! She named her goldfish Paschal and her hair is long enough that when it's wet it hangs below her bum. We also have a couple American Girl dolls that your technique works on. I know she would be thrilled to care for Rapunzel too! :)

I found my way to this giveaway because I was specifically looking for the de-tangling formula that I knew I had seen, but for whatever reason, I didn't pin it! I remembered it saying something about her hair being a hot mess, so I googled "De-tangling hot mess Rapunzel". You were the first choice! LOL

I would love to win this doll for my 20 month old daughter! Lately she has taken a liking to brushing my hair and let's just say, she is not gentle! At least if she tangles the doll's hair, I will be able to fix it! The wig brush and fabric softener won't work so well on my hair!

Really, thanks for a great blog and for hosting a super fun giveaway. I would LOVE to get this sweet Rapunzel doll for my darling niece. Her speech has been a bit delayed and she's finally learning more words, "tangle" is one of her faaaaaaaaavorites new words and of course her fave movie!

Found your doll-hair advice through a distant relative's pinterest & re-pinned to "for my future grandkids"...don't have any small kids or grandkids, so if i won, the doll would go to that relative, so her little Libby could have it!

I follow you through email, and I would love to win this doll because my daughter loves her babies, but is worried that she can't take care of one with hair (her friend's doll spooked her).
